Teves calls on ex-president Duterte in unmasking the secrets of Bebot Nolan

Negros Oriental Rep. Arnie Teves Jr., through social media, the other day called on former president Rodrigo Duterte to help the Filipino people in unmasking the secrets of a certain Bebot Nolan, whom he claimed to have a very close relationship with the First Family.

Teves said that Nolan disappeared from the country during the incumbency of Duterte but again resurfaces as Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. was elected president last year.

“PRRD sir, please help the Filipino people know who Bebot Nolan is. What are his secrets for being so close with the President and his wife Liza. What are their dealings even when they were still in New York before,” Teves said.

Teves, on the other hand, challenged President Marcos to include in his upcoming State of the Nation Address (SONA) the reason why the prices of rice continue to increase despite his promises during the election that he would bring it down to only P20 a kilo during his term.

“Where is the P20 per kilo of rice. Can President BBM tackle that during his SONA?” Teves added.

He also dared the President to make a comment on the misunderstanding between the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Philippine National Police (PNP) on the raid of the Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator in Las Pinas recently.

According to DOJ Secretary Boying Remulla, the PNP-Anti-Cybercrime Group (ACG) raid on Xinchuang Network Technology Inc. was done like a fishing expedition for it was conducted without specific grounds and without specific complaints.

But the PNP leadership maintained that the operation followed the legal process.

Teves accused Remulla of having “double standard” in the treatment of the POGO raid in Las Pinas where the DOJ denied the evidence presented by the police operatives and the raids conducted in their properties in Negros Oriental wherein legal processes where blatantly violated by the raiding teams.

“If the case hurled against me is already closed as Remulla p;ronounced, Why is it that there is no case filed against me yet?”’ Teves asked.
